Retired NYPD Detective Ralph Friedman holds the brick that he purchased to honor his father, Technician 4th Grade David Friedman, who served in the European Theater of Operations during WWII.  The brick was placed in the walkway for Veterans Day 2018.

Honoring the many requests that were received by donors, the bricks were arranged next to family members or friends.  Each brick was then numbered for final installation.
